As you have probably seen on other pages of this website, 2026 is an important anniversary year for Westminster College, Oxford, and The Westminster Society - its alumni group.
To mark 175 years of College life we are to publish a book of short life stories of some of the College's people - alumni and staff. The book will give the measure of the contribution to society at home and abroad by all the trained teachers and ministers who started their teacher education journeys at Westminster College.
Westminster College opened in October 1851 in brand new purpose-built facilities on Horseferry Road, Westminster (currently the site of Channel 4's HQ!) Well before 1959 it had outgrown the premises there and, after looking at a range of options, a site was found for the expanding college community on Harcourt Hill, Oxford.

Our Westminster College Heritage will be launched at this year's Reunion, in the Glasgow Room (under the Chapel), on the afternoon of Saturday 9th May 2026. Everyone is welcome to come along. You never know who you might meet, but you will soon appreciate the College experience you share with them.
